H1 Tag Checker
Analyze any webpage to confirm that an H1 tag exists and whether it is optimized. Paste one or more URLs (comma separated) and let the tool fetch the heading for you.
How to use
- Paste the URLs you want to evaluate, separated by commas (e.g., https://example.com, https://example.com/blog).
- Click “Check H1 tags”; the tool will fetch each page once and verify the primary H1 heading.
- Review the H1 content shown and ensure it reflects your main topic and keywords.
- Adjust the heading on your CMS if needed, then re-run the check to confirm the updated H1.
FAQ
What happens if a page has no H1?
The table displays “—” under the H1 Tag column, along with the HTTP status, so you know the page lacks a primary heading.
How many URLs can I check at once?
Up to 5 URLs per run. Provide them with comma separation, and the tool will batch them.
Why would a URL fail?
If fetching the page returns an error or timeout, the Status column shows the HTTP code or error message. Check that the URL starts with http(s) and is reachable.
Is there a rate limit?
Yes—10 runs per hour per IP. If you see “Too many requests,” wait an hour or switch to another IP/network.
Can I use this for competitor pages?
Yes, as long as the page is publicly accessible, the tool can fetch and report its H1 tag for quick competitive benchmarking.
