FAQ
What length should a meta description be?
Aim for 70–160 characters. Shorter snippets miss context; anything above 160 chars may get truncated in search results.
Why is a description marked as missing?
If there is no <meta name="description"> tag or the tag is empty, the tool will mark it as missing. Add a concise summary to improve click-through.
Can the tool read Open Graph descriptions?
Yes—it falls back to og:description when a standard meta description is absent, so you still get guidance.
How many requests per hour?
Each IP can run the checker 10 times every 60 minutes.
